A sequel to the charming "Maggie Sweet", this one basically continues the storyline following Maggie's leaving her husband, alternating viewpoints with Maggie, her mother Betty, daughter Jill and Mama Dean. Actually improves upon the first novel, as the supporting characters gain heft and depth as the reader gets to know them. ( )
