A fantastic little book, full of interesting and mostly forgotten histories. This is a book that should be read by anyone with an interest in World War One or socialist history. It is always a pleasure to read a history book that reveals the bits of history that our rulers would rather keep hidden, particularly now that we live in a age where WWI is celebrated more strongly than at any time during the lives of the majority of participants. It is good to see the histories of those who resisted pointless patriotic death in the name of mammon and empire. ( )
