But worth seeing as it is so complete and faithful to the book and its characters. Some good performances, especially Bernard Hepton as Sir Thomas Bertram. ( ) Excellent mini-series by the BBC, a faithful adaptation of 'Mansfield Park'. Made in 1983 with just the right amount of satire, conversation that is close to Jane Austen's original, and some very well-cast characters. Definitely recommended.
