A book about baby sharks and the different ways they are born-some lay eggs, others have live births. This book is full of pictures of sharks and their eggs and gives information about the sharks in the pictures. I used to love sharks when I was younger--actually I was obsessed--and saw this book and had to read it. I also used it for my child study where my buddy and I looked at the pictures, formulated questions and then looked through the text to find the answers. Another way this book could be used in the classroom would be to have it available to students for information to incorporate in book reports. no reviews | add a review

This book would be useful in a lesson on animal reproduction or adaptation. It would show the mechanisms sharks have adapted over the centuries to have the optimum chance of survival and continuing their species. ( )
