PLUS –
• Very pleased that I got a copy of this fairly rare EJO story.
• Fills in the story of Robin and Gwyneth who feature in some other later EJO books.
• I like the period details – the excitement about riding in a ‘motor’ and the fact that a child drives the car around country lanes!

MINUS –
• I prefer the stories when the characters are older rather than the ‘childhood’ stories.
• Some parts of the book are rather repetitive ( )
