I found this book not only heavy going, but over-long, repetitive, and unsatisfying as erotica for anyone interested in seeing stimulus reach a climax. There are two men, one woman. The plot: One man dominates the other in his ability to humiliate and subjugate the woman. Again and again. Full of 'rear entrance' as a means of humiliation, but only the dominant male seems to enjoy himself, and he's very two-dimensional. More minor characters appear in the third book, but to no consequence. I quickly identified the two 'sub' characters as total losers. This is the 'Groundhog Day' of erotica. Combining three books is only justified if one doesn't convince you that the author is abysmally one-track-minded. ( ) no reviews | add a review
Available for the first time in one volume, here is the entire savage story of Celia and the cousins Hardwicke. The first volume, The Captivity of Celia, introduces the beautiful Celia who wants nothing more than to be with her lover, Colin. But when Colin is mistakenly considered to be the prime suspect in a murder, he and Celia are forced to seek refuge with Colin's cousin, Sir Jason Hardwicke. In exchange for Colin's safety, Sir Jason demands Celia's unquestioning submission, knowing she will do anything to protect her lover. Soon, Celia is indeed doing anything demanded of her and becomes an instrument to satisfy each of the cousin's most depraved appetites. In The Possession of Celia, we find Celia once again at odds with her passion for the cousins as Sir Jason releases her and Colin and arranges for the couple's safe passage to France. But Celia cannot easily forget the man who awakened so many desires within her. Can Colin compete with the memory of Jason's virility -- or must Celia choose between them?
