Thankfully this was not one of those books, whilst it does feature the same 'world' as some of the other books of his it is a stand alone story that manages to stand by itself. Would recommend to those who enjoy reading stories of intrigue. Solo is a quick paced tale of revenge, politics, and espionage. It is the story of how an ex-SAS solider seeks revenge for the death of his daughter, who was unfortunately killed during a political assassination. The characters are formed almost completely by their introduction, and thus their subsequent actions do not evoke surprise, in fact you can predict them. There is nothing extraordinary about the book as the story is too neat, but it was a pleasant way to pass some time. [From Johnny K] no reviews | add a review
