So just completed this book, and I am obsessed!! I have most of the PNR/vampire series and Nalini Singh's books just never really jumped out to me but I decided to give it a chance after everyone on here and other posts saying the Guild Hunter series was better than the Psy. Let me just say that I am so happy I finally caved in...

I didn't realize that this series was going to continue with the same characters but I am so happy it does. Love Elena And Raphael together. The passion, fear for/of each other, humor, and differences makes their characters so appealing and complex that it makes you want more. Singh also created other characters, such as Illium, Dmitri, Jason, that stick with you also and you want to know more of who they are.

I'm almost finished the 2nd book, Archangel's Kiss, and have the 4rd ready to read. I am trying to go slow because even though I know Singh is writing the 4th book I don't want this series to end. ( )

I didn't expect to love this series right off the bat but here we are! Not a fan of Raphael currently but I'm sure he'll grow on me. ( )

Good urban fantasy w/ female protagonist. Slightly smutty (par for the course in this genre). Excellent bus reading. ( )
