Since I am far from youth and have studied quite a bit, I found most of this very simplified. I do think it would be good for youth either for a new believer or as a refresher for an established believer. I didn't like that most scriptures were only referenced and not printed within the pages, requiring me to have two books open when I wanted to do this study. I also noticed that the answers the book wanted usually came in the paragraph right after the question (which makes it really easy to "cheat" and not read the scriptures that are referenced, but is also helpful when you can't figure out what the authors were going for in a particular section.
