"My son Alec, who was five when I began working on this book, was fascinated with superlatives. What is the fastest animal? The strongest? The tiniest? Like most children, he was absorbing an incredible amount of information about the world, much of it without context, and I realized that being able to mark out the extremes helped him make sense of what he was learning. This book is a response to his questions." - Steve Jenkins Teaching Connections: informational research projects, nonfiction text features Website Resources: http://www.stevejenkinsbooks.com This book is all about the biggest, strongest, and fastest animals in the world.
