It shows pictures of large fires and floods. I think this book would be great in a young classroom. The pictures are great! It is definately a book that I would use in the classroom. Extensions: 1. I would introduce this book as a part of Fire Prevention Month. 2. After reading this book, we would visit the fire station to learn more about fire safety. 3. I would reread this book in the spring.
