It gives information on a large variety of animals and also explains the reason for why that animal hides. I like this book because it can show students characteristics of different types of animals and how they keep safe. I also like how in the back of the book there is a little section with more information about animals and their hiding places. In my classroom, I would be able to ask students to show patterns of why animals hide. We could categorize the animals in this book on many different things such as why they hide, where they hide, etc and then add to that list using research. This is a way we could categorize or compare/contrast different animals. ( ) no reviews | add a review
