A picture book that is good for miscue analysis for low syntactically complex readers. The book begins as a story with a snake and a snake charmer and then advances into a science text about snakes, such as birth and hibernation through the seasons. Students who enjoy non-fiction text or snakes specifically would enjoy this book.
