A coming-of-age story about a young deer, the future prince of the forest, as he learns the ways of life from his mother and experiences all that life has to offer alongside a group of other furry friends, like the rabbit Thumper and the skunk Flower. When tragedy strikes, Bambi must face the unknown alone and continue his journey.

One of Disney's greatest animated classics, Bambi has long been renowned for its spectacular animation, and that -- paired with a cast of lovable characters and tremendous music -- makes this one of their finest features ever produced. The pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, but artistically speaking, this is about as great as you can get when it comes to animated film. Packed with humor, cute animals, and a timeless message about nature and the environment, Bambi has lasted this long for good reason and remains a fantastic movie even to this day. Highly recommended.

The first year of a deer's life.

The animation is absolutely amazing - one of the most visually impressive animated films I've ever seen. But there's no story, so it's really boring to watch. Also, it bothers me that none of the animals in this forest eat each other.
