36 months - just in time for O's 3rd birthday. I liked how the author used the talents of each of ladybug's guest's special talents to make the party a success. ( )

This book is a good example modern fantasy because ladybugs do not actually have birthday parties where they invite all of their bug friends. The artwork in this book looks like it was done by colored pencil, or at least that is the only thing I can think of that would give the texture that it has. The narration is done by third person, a traditional limited narrator.

Ladybug's Birthday is a fun book celebrating the birthday of the main character. It shows children that not all birthday's go according to plan, but there is always a solution, and good friends will always find that solution to make your birthday better.
