Comforting to adults as well as to children. And best of all, the happy things don't depend much at all on the circumstances of the family. Almost everyone has slippers, can hear birdsong (or at least calls or coos), and has breakfast. ( ) I thought that this story is very nice because of the positive message that it sends to children. The message is that your sibling always has your back. Willoughby did not fall asleep until his his sister, Willa, felt safe enough to fall asleep. Willoughby was a good brother to help his sister and every sibling should be willing to do this for their siblings. Reading this story reminded me about how my sister and I have each others back no matter how much we fight. I am a big fan of the personification used when the bunny main characters are talking, wearing clothes, and even walking. Quick and easy read about a bunny named Willa who is having trouble falling asleep until her brother reminds her of all the happy things that await her when she would awakens. This is a great story for students because it reminds them of all the great things in life that should make them happy and that they are blessed to be able to wake up the next morning. no reviews | add a review
