I loved how the text sets up the information and answers the question in an easy to follow way. The story has a nice introduction to introduce the question and get the reader interested in the topic. The book uses basic vocabulary words to explain topics in an easy way for students to comprehend. After the question "why does it snow?" is asked the answer is explained as if no prior knowledge is had. The characters in the story explain a cloud (page 5), and slowly build up to snow (page 8) eventually comparing it to rain (page 10). This is a gradual increase and even has bright illustrations to go along with the information. I would use this book in the classroom and recommend it for a learning tool.
