Yuki stands up to his horribly controlling mother and Tohru sneaks into the Sohma estate to track down Kureno for Uo-chan's sake. Tohru meets Momo, Momiji's sister who has had her memories erased but suspects that Momiji might be her brother. When Tohru reveals Momo's admiration to Momiji, he finds some happiness. Later, the high school kids go on a class trip. ( ) I think this is probably my least favorite volume of Fruit Basket (so far), but, because it was still filled with the characters I love, I couldn't bring myself to give it any less than 5 stars still. It's just the overall fantastic feel of the series that seems to permeate every individual book that I'm giving my rating to, I guess.... Really enjoyed this volume. There's lots of interesting Yuki bits, plus some nice Ayame time as well. Then Kyo is cool. Tohru is... well, I'm getting just a bit tired of her tears and humility and stuff, but she's still pretty cute. I'm such a huge fan of Kyo/Tohru, but this volume made me fall in love a little with poor Yuki-kun. no reviews | add a review
