The Tao of not only Jeet Kune Do, but thinking. ( )

Without a martial arts background, I failed to understand any of the middle section of the book regarding physicality. But I liked the beginning and end where Lee is philosophical. ( )

Very cool, not just a form of martial arts, but a philosophy. The wisdom contained in this book really hasn't aged much, in that the simplicity of the words but the depth of the meaning has held up well. ( )

I skimmed over it towards the beginning of the year when I had some interest in doing this but lost interest quickly due to my ADD. But I say it would be useful towards someone that can pay attention long enough to learn. ( )

This is the definitive guide to Jeet Kune Do by the founder himself Bruce Lee. Many people who first pick up this book find it hard to follow as they believe that this book is like any other with definite chapters and a story to follow. However this is not the case this book was put together based on the enormous amounts of notes Bruce Lee left behind on fighting, martial arts, and philosophy. If you ever wondered why Bruce Lee is called the father of modern MMA well this book will show you. But be warned this book is not easy to understand and you may have to read it a number of times before the penny drops. ( )
