This is a lovely tribute by a child to his mother. Tenderly told, it is obvious that this child loves him mother and adores the way in which she takes care of him, and helps him see the world. ( )

This is a great children’s book following up on the author’s first similar story, My Dad. It’s narrated by a child who’s loves their mom. He goes on to tell a lot of characteristics about his mom. The crayon illustrations perfectly display everything he describes. This would be great for kids to read on mother’s day. I like how the book uses lots of metaphors to describe the mom like she is soft and cuddly, is a magical fairy in a floral robe, and turns into a superhero in a floral cape. The story is easy to read, full of bright colors, and the illustrations are simple and perfect. ( )

I love this book!! The illustrations of always keeping the pattern of the mom's orginal clothing truly shows how she is all these things yet still a mom. ( )
