Tenderly told, it is obvious that this child loves him mother and adores the way in which she takes care of him, and helps him see the world. ( ) This is a great children’s book following up on the author’s first similar story, My Dad. It’s narrated by a child who’s loves their mom. He goes on to tell a lot of characteristics about his mom. The crayon illustrations perfectly display everything he describes. This would be great for kids to read on mother’s day. I like how the book uses lots of metaphors to describe the mom like she is soft and cuddly, is a magical fairy in a floral robe, and turns into a superhero in a floral cape. The story is easy to read, full of bright colors, and the illustrations are simple and perfect. no reviews | add a review
A child describes the many wonderful things about "my mom," who can make anything grow, roar like a lion, and be as comfy as an armchair. No library descriptions found. |
