Zucker's voice has undeniable force, and some of these poems are vivid in their emotional violence and disjointed verse. A lot of it, however, feels confessional in the worst sense of the word: rote, self-absorbed, hysterical, and lyrically sloppy. The author's high-strung personality becomes numbing after a while; it's like being verbally assaulted at top speed for an hour straight. ( ) no reviews | add a review

Rending the terrorizing forces of modern existence from abstraction and placing them directly in our laps, Museum of Accidents is a brutally honest epic of domestic proportions. No library descriptions found. |
