I definitely liked this one better than the Clockwork Angel, though I seemed to have forgotten I hadn't read it yet and it and I went on to the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments series when I should've read this first. The characters were great and I was riveted and in agony with them. I can't wait for the next installment! ( ) This book started off really slow for me and I almost put it down. However, I knew that I enjoyed book 1 and decided to keep up with it. I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed the characters, some more than others. As much as I liked Jem, I liked Will a lot more. I really felt bad for Will at the end and hope that things change for him in future books. Overall, an enjoyable book. I'm grounded... so I secretly finished this book sitting on the floor of my bathroom with the door locked. no reviews | add a review
