I have mixed emotions about this book. I liked the characters, I liked the mystery. I wasn't that impressed with the religious agenda. I don't mind Christian books most of the time but this one seemed "forced" to me. Stanley has become one of my favorite authors with her other series but. . . I'm still thinking on this one.

I believe I'll try the next in the series to see if it sits better with me, it might just be a "new series" thing.

One good thing about it - some wonderful recipes in the back of the book! (
