Dead people don't make great companions - something cute, athletic Ken finds out the hard way when, following an accident on the football field, he starts hearing ghostly voices. It's not the kind of gift he would have asked for, but there's nothing he can do about it, until an anonymous note invites him to a seance. Completely convinced by the medium he meets, Ken tries to tell her about his secret. Ever since Ken Preston had an accident that killed his best friend and left him injured, he can hear dead people. The biggest problem is that they tend to crowd him and keep him distracted. He attends a seance and finds that there are a lot of lies involved.

It's interesting but the characters need to start confiding in each other or at least occasionally talking about some of the stuff going on before one of them ends up dead. ( )

This book is about Ken and him trying to help out a boy who father died but also won a lottery ticket and didn't tell anyone where it is. Since Ken power is to talk to the dead. He hasn't told that much people only one and the rest know from the class. Someone slips a add that says if you want to talk to the dead come to this place. So he asks Amanda to come with him to check it out. Thats where he meets the boy. The rest you have to learn on your own.

You should read this book because it is very intresting how Ken finally figures out that everything was just a big plote created by Selena. Selena shows up on the first book. She got two other people to help her to trick him to using his powers to get to talk to the dad and get him to tell them where it is. Well her plan blows big time but Amanda body-snatch one of the ladies that was there. She figured out that there principal is in on it to. Ifyou want to know the rest then read the book. This is why you should read this book.

Ken has only had his "gift" for a short time. Ever since his recent head injury, he has been contacted by the dead. He wants to find out more about this talent and see if there are more people like him. A mysterious note lures him to a seance where he finds a kindred soul and a child in need. At least that is what he thinks.

I enjoy this series. I like the characters and the way the group is coming together. In this book we get some more hints about the people who are trying to use the gifted class. Thhis story was pretty good but I think it was a bit hard to believe that Ken would be so willing to accept the inviation to the seance and be so naive. But, he is just in the 9th grade. I am looking forward to the next in the series. ( )
