I prefer real gardens myself... it takes a full application of creativity to imagine perfectly ordinary tomatoes succeeding in my bed.... ( ) Henkes, K. (2014). My garden. New York: McGraw-Hill Education. This book is most appropriate for preschoolers. In this book we are introduced to a young girl who constantly helps her mother with her garden. However, the girl starts to imagine what she would want in her own garden. Her imagination runs wild and she comes up with ideas such as she would grow old keys, seashells, and jelly bean bushes. In the end her imagination truly takes root when she plants a seashell and it starts to take root just like she imagined. no reviews | add a review
