A romantic comedy about a weatherman caught in a personal time warp where it is Groundhog Day again, and again, and again. First he uses this to his advantage, but then he realizes that he might be doomed to spend the rest of eternity in the same place, seeing the same people, and doing the same thing every day.… (more)

Eindelijk eens gezien! al via l'Abri sinds 2005 mij bekend. Interessant gegeven.
Ander gedrag geeft verschillende reacties. (Hoe) leer jij van je fou

Finally seen! Known since by l'Abri. Interesting issue. Told at full speed. What after it's has been 3 times the same day? Find out how he got rid of that curse. Bill Murray tries in countless ways to escape from reliving the same day.. Funny how is played with the expectation, which pieces of the day are shown and which aren't. Some little jokes are fun. A lot of jokes doesn't work on me. T II had not thought myself that deeds wouldn't have consequences the next day
His infatuation does not convince me, seems - even as an actor - too much played.
Morality of the story: If you do as much good as possible for others, your attitude is helpful and positive, you are set free.
Questions to be asked: what would you do if you only have one day left to live?
(How) do you learn from your mistakes?
Different behaviour gives different reactions.

An entertaining dramatization of how certain troublesome scenarios are repeated in our lives until we open up to learn the important lessons these experiences can afford us with the help of grace from above. ( )

Every time you think the movie has run out of ideas, it turns a corner and get's better. Ramis's best work and Murray is in absolutely top form. I didn't think it would bear repeated viewings but it does. ( )

Phil: I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl. We ate lobster, drank Piña Coladas. At sunset we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over and over and over?

DJ #1: Okay, campers, rise and shine and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cold out there today!
DJ #2: It's cold out there every day! What is this, Miami Beach?
D.J. #1: Not hardly. And you know, you can expect hazardous travel later today with that, you know, that, uh, that blizzard thing.
D.J. #2: That blizzard - thing. That blizzard - thing. Oh, well, here's the report! The National Weather Service is calling for a "big blizzard thing!"
D.J. #1: Yessss, they are. But you know, there's another reason why today is especially exciting.
D.J. #2: Especially cold!
D.J. #1: Especially cold, okay, but the big question on everybody's lips...
D.J. #2: On their chapped lips...
D.J. #1: On their chapped lips, right: Do ya think Phil is gonna come out and see his shadow?
