I can see how it's a classic; it's an extremely imitated movie. A few of those imitations are even good movies. But I don't get the appeal of this one. Is it a nostalgia thing? (Nostalgia for what was only 10 years ago when this came out? It's weird, having grown up in the 90's when everything was Boomer Nostalgia 24/7, to realize pop culture could be nostalgic for something so recent.)
