None of the other "Little House Years" books are as good as the ones about Laura but other then the Laura books I prefer the Martha and Charlotte books. I don't enjoy the Caroline books as much because they are a bit uneven for me with some in the series being really good and others lacking. ( ) Caroline’s family has had to leave their home in Brookfield to move to a new homestead in Wisconsin. It is largely unfinished, and the family must struggle to clear the woods and make it home. When the garden fails, they get a job cooking for the men working for a nearby rich man, but it isn’t easy work. In the end their little cabin becomes a little home. no reviews | add a review
