The artwork will look familiar to fans of Frog and Toad books. The content is a bit different. Each page features a poem about frogs and/or toads. The poems are funny and cute and I think they would be popular with preschoolers and school age children. The book is included in the picture book section at my library and not in the poetry section which is something to be noted, although I believe that it will stand out more and therefore circulate more often from the picture book section. no reviews | add a review

The only thing you need to know, besides the fact that I recommend it, is that has not as tight a controlled vocabulary as a Leveled Reader, and is therefore better read by a family or slightly older child. ( )
