The Section Molecular Biomarkers of the open access journal Biomolecules (ISSN 2218-273X) publishes papers in all areas related to molecular biomarker research. This includes the identification, validation, and application of biomarkers in innovative diagnostic procedures, drug discovery/development and diseases pathogenesis.
We invite review and original research articles that include but are not limited to the following topics:
- Predictive biomarkers;
- Diagnostic biomarkers;
- Prognostic biomarkers;
- Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic biomarkers;
- Optimum biomarker selection and validation;
- Biomarker development in omics;
