Not even only from the original, but from the countless times it has been sampled since its release in the early 1990s. Of course I am talking about Crystal Waters 1991 hit single, ‘Gypsy Woman’.

  The song that Slant Magazine ranked 48th in the 100 Greatest Dance Songs List. A track that can be said to laid the foundations for the house artists of today and sparked the trends that have made the genre as popular as it exists now. Take a trip back to the early 90s. Or if you can’t, just imagine the buzz that rushed through a club when the DJ dropped ‘Gypsy Woman’ and it’s instantly recognizable intro. Now, imagine hearing it live.

  This is why it’s imperative that you go to a Crystal Waters concert. Of course for other hit singles, like ‘100% Pure Love’, but to be in the crowd when that little gem of house music gold drops is something that all music lovers everywhere should experience. Celebrate the creators, Crystal Waters is a house music legend.
