Ree Drummond celebrated her birthday this week and her kids didn't miss the chance to mark the occasion with a few sweet Instagram posts. The Drummonds always find a way to make things feel both heartfelt and funny—and this year's tributes were no exception!
Alex shared an adorable photo taken shortly after welcoming her first child, where Ree is standing proudly by her side. "Happy birthday to my wonderful momma," she wrote. "How did you look this good at the hospital at 3 a.m.?"
Grab some tissues before this next part: "Seeing you as a grandma has just grown my love and admiration for you," Alex continued, sharing a sweet snap of Ree holding her granddaughter. "Thank you for always answering my random motherhood Q’s and being on the receiving end of every Sofia update."
Alex finished off by promising "the guest room is all ready" for Ree's next visit. (She's probably already on her way!)
Paige kept her message short but oh so sweet. "Happy birthday to my momma!" she wrote over a photo from her engagement. "The most amazing woman I know. I love you so much."
Todd and Bryce honored their mom by sharing photos from their football games with Ree who's always been their number one cheerleader on and off the field. "Happy birthday to the most amazing mother in the world," Todd wrote. "Thank you for always being the most selfless and supportive person in my life."
"Happy birthday mum," Bryce wrote simply, paired with a cute game day shot.
Ree's kids may be spread out these days—Alex is a new mom in Dallas, Paige is back home working on the ranch, and the boys are busy with college and football—but they still know how to make their mom feel loved. And if we know Ree, she probably celebrated her special day cuddling her dogs, laughing with Ladd, and eating a slice (or three!) of chocolate sheet cake.
