Motivation
editWe currently have a series of titles that are missing some parts, due to limitations of the format of title (P1476). As @Succu: noted the other day, this is still unresolved. I'm not really a fan of such markup, but I don't think it can be avoided. Previous discussion at Wikidata:Property proposal/title in TeX (with samples). Maybe @Daniel Mietchen:'s bot could use them to complete existing incomplete titles (Add your motivation for this property here.). Please help complete/fix samples above. --- Jura 07:41, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
Discussion
edit- I agree that something like this is needed, and going for qualifiers makes sense, as does the split into HTML and LaTeX. Don't see a way to automate that at the moment. --Daniel Mietchen (talk) 14:29, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Daniel Mietchen: thanks for your feedback. The HTML ones should be fairly easy to fix. Some time ago, I added a few constraints to identify such titles and could do them with QuickStatements. Maybe the TeX ones need to be done manually. --- Jura 08:36, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

- Support The examples here are better than the last time we discussed this - the mathematical expression datatype does support "\text{}" right? ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:38, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, we should test that: yes it does.--- Jura 18:48, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
