The turn player (Japanese: ターンプレイヤー tān pureiyā) is the player currently in his/her turn during a Duel.
As of Problem-Solving Card Text, cards whose effects that can be activated by either player while face-up, such as "Chicken Game", usually refer to the turn player instead of you (the controller of the card).
